Looking for the perfect useful gift to give an outdoorsy friend or family member but not sure what to get? Here’s a list of my favorite things I use while adventuring that anyone who enjoys the outdoors would love!

Darn Tough Socks | $24
Okay I get it, $25 seems like a lot for a single pair of socks but hear me out. They are the most comfortable, breathable, coziest socks ever! I will not wear any other socks if I’m out hiking, camping or doing work outside. They’re made out of merino wool, incredibly breathable, wick away all moisture + sweat, keep your feet warm in the winter + feel like little pillows for your feet. These are also the only socks I’ve found that keep my feet from hurting when I wear my blundstones!
Blundstone Sticker | Etsy $4
I love adding new stickers to my water bottles but was always disappointed by the lack of cool options I’ve found in the past. So I designed + made my own stickers inspired by the outdoors! You can find them on my etsy shop Wandering Creative Co if you’re looking for something small to gift!
Backpacking meals | REI $5.95 – $14.75
Can’t go wrong with picking out a few backpacking meals to gift! REI has tons of options to choose from that include breakfast, lunch/dinner, and deserts (like freeze dried ice cream sandwiches!!) We typically get the Mountain House Brand, but there’s a handful of other brands to choose from as well.
HART Outdoor First Aid Kit | REI $23.95
We keep this in our car and take it with us on every hike, backpacking + camping trip. Everyone should always have some sort of first aid kit on hand. We really like that this one has everything you could need for a weekend trip. This brand also has some larger options that are great for extended trips.
Black Diamond Headlamp | REI $26.73
I know this headlamp is slightly above $25 but still wanted to include it. It’s normally $40 but currently in the rei outlet for a steal of a deal! Austin + I each have this exact headlamp and really love the quality of it. We’ve had ours for a year and a half and I only just recently had to put a new battery in after using it a ton for sunrise hikes, late night bathroom runs and setting up camp in the dark. Perfect gift for that one friend that’s always getting to camp late lol!
National Parks Passport Book | NPS $12.95
This is a must have for your outdoorsy friends that love to visit national parks! Each page is for a different park and has a spot for the park sticker + stamp when you visit each visitor center. It’s so cool to look back at all the stamps you collect from parks you’ve visited over the years!
